A 25-minute watch.

Daren Fuchs is co-founder of Supernice, a digital agency that does all things websites and apps. Lee Robertson sits down with him to chat through current digital trends, the role of content, ensuring your website is seen, and the big digital no-nos.

A fundamental question any small IFA will likely have when it comes to their website is how to compete with larger wealth managers with significantly more resource – can you be heard?

Daren believes this isn’t an issue in today’s digital world: “As long as [your website] can be found and has good messaging, you’ll be able to get that coffee and start building relationships with new clients”.

He outlines that simplicity is the key, and encourages advisers to think of their website as a “shop window – this is what we do, this is who we are, get in touch”. Far too much is lost, it seems, in a wildly complex digital journey.

Daren then runs through some of the digital trends he thinks advisers should be thinking about, from micro-interactions, to fonts, copy, and the all-important buzz-word – content!

And of course, no interview could be complete without addressing the bugbears: the common mistakes Daren and Lee see in UX and UI.

For more on digital, we recently posted on taking your website to the next level with Growth Driven Design (GDD), and Lee recently wrote an article on the demands of content.
