George Kinder, the founder of the Kinder Institute of Life Planning, says that life planners must lead the debate about what needs to change post-crisis not leaving it solely to providers and regulators.
Good things can come out of the crisis, he says, but he is worried about the risk of an economic depression. That said, life planners have a great opportunity to use their active listening skills and to demonstrate calm in a crisis while we are now seeing that online connections can be clear and effective.
