A short watch.

With growth in the US beginning to slow, where will stockpickers find the best opportunities? In this video, Cormac Weldon, manager of the Artemis US Select Fund, outlines his views to colleague Vik Heerah

Cormac still believes that US growth could be in the region of 2-2.5% this year, but eyes will be on the Federal Reserve which has adopted a different stance in recent months.

“The Fed has backed away from reducing the size of the balance sheet – quantitative tightening – and raising interest rates at the same time,” he says.

“Indeed, it looks like they’ll be much more dovish than we would have thought a matter of months ago”.

Cormac also outlines why he has taken profits from healthcare stocks and put money to work in tech.
