Progressive Planning Event // 8 Planners // 8th September 2022

A day for members of Octo Members Group in London on the 8th of September. Entirely for practitioners by practitioners, at The Durham Street Auditorium and Vaults, The RSA, John Adam Street, London.

We will be exploring the very limits of our great profession with a fantastic line-up of speakers.

The day is aimed at financial planners and those who support them across technology, marketing, hybrid advice, digital engagement, and beyond.
An opportunity to learn from each other and to network with peers.

An opening keynote by Neil Bage of Shaping Wealth is followed by a day of eight unique presentations by planners and practitioners who are pushing the boundaries of what has gone before, across behavioural science, business models, human-first advice, digital engagement, and retention of clients, hyper-niche value propositions, lessons from B Corp and living your business values, and scaling whilst retaining a culture of excellence as well as experiential financial planning.

We are incredibly grateful to our confirmed financial planning presenters and participants and we will be announcing more details over the next few days but they already include Alan Smith, Anthony Villis, Marlene Outrim, Adrian Murphy, Tommy Watson and David MacDonald.

Other sessions and activities are being added to an agenda which is obviously subject to amendment.

Finally, a super closing keynote on critical decision-making in pressured situations from the executive medical director, Sanjiv Sharma, of the world-renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.

We will also have some surprises along the way, will be announcing a very special award and all topped off with drinks at the end of the day for those who want to continue the networking and friendship so valued in financial planning.
