A 24-minute watch.
Tessa Lee is MD of moneyinfo, a fintech firm offering communication portals for advisers to provide secure and safe financial information to their clients. She sits down with Lee Robertson to chat through her business’ proposition and advise viewers on how best to assess new tech.
At its core, moneyinfo aims to aggregate a client’s entire ‘financial life’, displaying spending, savings, investments, and so forth, simply and securely through their portals and white-labelled apps. For HNWIs, Tessa claims it’s like having a ‘family office in their pocket’.
It involves a lot of data feeds, which Tessa claims they are experts in dealing with, adding moneyinfo put their money where their mouth is and own the responsibility for making sure data is delivered; and if not, fixed promptly.
Also discussed are interoperability across the industry, getting regulated, having a ‘phone first, client-centric mantra’, and the ‘best way to test any new tech coming into the business’.
