A sixteen-minute view. 

Dirk Groeneveld is the founder of Client Care, a financial planning firm in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.  He was introduced to us by Alan Smith who was very complimentary of the journey that DIrk is on with his practice.  An early adopter of lifestyle financial planning he is getting his practice ready for the impending regulatory changes which are coming for South African planners in the form of their own version of RDR. From service proposition to fees and more Dirk is very open about how he is addressing key issues within Client Care.

Dirk is also a firm believer in engaging with other financial planners and leaders in and contributors to the profession such as Paul Armson and driving his business forwards but always with the client in mind.

This is an interview with one of South Africa’s leading financial planners and whilst he may be in another jurisdiction the discussion between Dirk and Lee just shows how global the drive for better, more client-focused, financial planning has become.
