In this edition of Adviser Insight, Alan Lakey, director at Highclere Financial Services and CIExpert speaks out on the “buck-passing” seen between the regulator, the Ombudsman and the Treasury, is waiting to see the FCA clamp down on “dodgy distributors” and makes a plea to all mortgage, pension and investment advisers to either consider speaking to their clients about protection, or signpost them to a specialist, which he says would create a “seismic shift” and draw more advisers into the industry to meet demand.
