Octo Members Group Limited – the innovative, app-based proposition for the financial services community – has appointed to its board James McKechnie as non-executive chairman and Angela Warburton as non- executive director.
James McKechnie brings more than 35 years’ experience in business, banking and financial services – having worked with organisations such as Phillips Petroleum, Hill Samuel Bank, Union Bank of Switzerland and Deutsche Bank. He is non-executive chairman of The Advocacy Group Limited, a trustee of the Board of St Luke’s Centre Management Company and holds other non-executive board positions. James has also chosen to invest into the business at this time.
Angela Warburton has more than 20 years’ experience in external relations and communications, most recently as global head of communications at Janus Henderson. She has worked as both an in-house communications adviser and a consultant for numerous companies in the UK and abroad.
